Skatepunk is back! Was in den 1990ern als Soundtrack für einige wunderbare Sommer taugte und danach so ausgelutscht und langweilig wurde, funktioniert wieder: eingängiger, melodischer, hitkompatibler (Melody-)Punk. Ganz vorne dabei: Bike Age aus Stuttgart.
Zweimal Empowerment, einmal ex-Obtrusive und ex-Collide and discord mit grandiosem 90er Cali-Punk, der sich vor No use for a name, Satanic Surfers, Bad Religion, NOFX und Kollegen verneigt und seine Sympathie dafür auch gar nicht verhehlen will. Kein neuer Aufguss der altbekannten Soße, sondern geile ausgeprägte Melodien und schnelle Punk-Hymnen.
Nach dem Demo „Beer is my cup of tea“ (2017) ist die Zeit reif für den großen Wurf: 10 kurzweilige, extrem eingängige, skatekompatible und packende Punkrocksongs. Für Alf, Bier und große Melodien. Die Sonne scheint, das Skateboard unter dem Arm und auf direktem Weg in den Circle Pit.
