tc155 Berlin Diskret - Arbeiten und Wohnen.

Berlin Diskret heißt die Punkband, die aus der Großstadt der steigenden Mieten, leergeräumten Häuser und geschlossenen Clubs kriecht. Ihre zweite LP "Arbeiten und Wohnen" erzählt illusionslos, was vom Leben in der Metropole übrig bleibt. Seit dem Erscheinen des Debüts "Kurfürstendamnedamnedamned" (2015) hat sich einiges getan: Der neue Sänger heißt Schmelzi Käsefaust. Der Sound, den Johnny Bottrop, Don Lotzo, The Artist formerly known as Metal Warrior und Asphalt Tiger produzieren, ist dreckiger geworden. Weniger New Wave, mehr Protopunk, 1977, dazu einige Deutschpunkdiamanten mit Pogolöchern. Vor allem atmen die neuen von Nene Baratto (Big Snuff Studio) aufgenommenen Songs Gegenwart in tiefen Zügen. Sie drehen sich um die wichtigen Probleme unserer Zeit: Zombies im Berufsverkehr, Vermögensbildungsstrategien von Flipperkönigen, den schwer benennbaren Zusammenhang von Jugenddelinquenz, Geilheit und Ressourcenschwund sowie die schreckliche Erkenntnis: „Ganz Berlin stinkt nach Pisse“.
"Arbeiten und Wohnen" erscheint im 350g Cover mit Textinlay, schwarzen Innenhüllen und Downloadcode und als pinkes Tape.
